AuPairCare offers the following benefits:
The opportunity to spend a year living with an American family.
Families are situated throughout the USA from New York City to San Francisco.
The support and assistance of your local AuPairCare Community Co-ordinator throughout your stay.
A 4 day / 5 night orientation and training programme in New York City to include child safety and development
training to prepare you for your year as an Au Pair.
Return transatlantic flights plus onward travel from New York to your host family.
Screening of all host families throughout the USA.
Private room and meals provided.
Weekly payment of $139.05.
Completion Award of $400 paid to you in the USA when you have completed the full 12 months.
Tuition allowance of up to $500.
24-hour toll free help line in case of emergency.
2 weeks paid vacation.
Opportunity to travel in the 13th month.
Do I qualify?
In order to become an 'AuPairCare' you must fulfil the following:
Be between 18-26 years of age.
Hold a full driving licence or pass your driving test before your departure.
Have practical experience in caring for children.
Have completed secondary education.
Not have a criminal record and provide a police record check.
Be committed to a full year of child care.
Agree to abide by the rules of the programme.
Not have previously participated in an Au Pair programme in the USA.
Be a UK or EC citizen
